"garden stakes" are 5 ft ta...Well, lol... "garden stakes" are 5 ft tall and like 1" by 1" and $2.50 and break in about 5 minutes. Last year my tomatoes were taller than I am, and I'm 5'3, so those are too short. THOSE are 2X2X8's and in the lumber dept and were $1.19 each. Granted, we need to cut about 2ft off but it's hard grabbing my husband's time sometimes, so priority was "stake tomatoes" not "cut stakes."
